Bradford Onized Federal Credit Union History
The Bradford Onized Federal Credit Union was organized by a few employees of the Northeastern Container Corporation in 1940 and was granted charter #3651 in the same year. Though the sponsor company has changed several times since then, the spirit of customer service and honest savings and loaning has remained the same. Our present membership consists of the employees of Georgia Pacific II LLC, our current sponsor, and the immediate family members of members.
Our primary objective as a Credit Union is to serve our members. We are a financial organization owned by the members and operated by a Board of Directors selected by the members. The Credit Union has always, and continues to offer low interest rates and fair dividends on savings at the Credit Union.
Today, though the Credit Union remains quite small with 202 members and $825,000 in assets, we remain committed to serving the financial needs of our members however we are able.
